2007/08 Round-Up

Throughout the season this page featured a weekly round-up of non-league football action from local clubs league and cup action. As the various league tables in which our clubs compete are completed, the final league tables and attendance figures will be added. Scroll down to view the following in order:

  • Final league tables
  • League attendances
  • Weekly results round-ups
Be careful of Emails that say you can get paid to do surveys online because many of these are scams.

Saturday 19th April 2008

Starting this week with the Herts Senior County League, in the Premier Division Bovingdon drew 2-2 with London Lions and Evergreen drew 1-1 with Hertford Heath.  Metropolitan Police Bushey seem determined to throw the Championship away - after leading the table for ages they have lost their last two consectutive games - today they lost 1-0 away to Championship rivals, who leap-frogged them in the table to top spot with two games left! In Division One Croxley Guild lost 1-0 away to Champions Baldock Town, Mill End Sports won 4-1 at home to North Mymms, Old Parmiterians lost 1-2 at home to Lemsford, and Sarratt lost 5-1 away to second placed Wodson Park

Moving on the Arlon Printers West Herts League, in the Premier Division Hadley 'A' secured the Championship with a 3-1 win at home to Metropolitan Police Bushey 'A' who in turn will definately finish bottom. In Division One the only two local sides were in action against each other, although it was hardly a local derby. Harpenden Town and Sun Postal Sports drew 2-2. The local sides were pitted against each other in Division Two too, leaders Kings Langley won 3-0 at home to bottom club Markyate and Tring Corinthians drew 1-1 with their neighbours from just over the Herts/Bucks border, Pitstone & Ivinghoe
